Who we are
Prompt Reach operates promptreach.ai, a directory of businesses. Questions about privacy go to hello@promptreach.ai.
What we collect
- Listing details you submit: business name, website, location, services, hours, photos, and a phone number if you add one. These are public by design.
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send listing, billing and account messages. It is never shown publicly and we do not sell it.
- Enquiries and reviews you send through the site. Enquiries go to the business you contact; reviews are public.
- Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought and when.
- Technical data such as IP address and browser type, for security, rate limiting and spam checks, and aggregate statistics about how the site is used.
How we use it
To run the directory, verify that people who claim a listing control the business, deliver enquiries, process payments, prevent fraud and spam, answer your messages, and improve the site. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers who handle data only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, spam checks (Turnstile), image processing and file storage
- Neon: database
- Stripe: payments and tax calculation
- Resend: sending email
- Google: our inbox (Google Workspace), and site analytics (Google Analytics)
- Anthropic: automated review of new listing submissions. The business details you submit and the text of your public website are sent to Claude to check that the listing is real.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or to a successor if the business is reorganized or sold.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie when you log in, a short-lived referral cookie if you arrive through a claim link, Cloudflare’s security cookies, and Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; signing in will not work without the sign-in cookie.
How long we keep it
Account and listing data while your account or listing exists. Billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Security and spam logs for up to 90 days. Database backups for up to 13 months, after which deleted data is gone from them too.
Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your listing from My account. Email hello@promptreach.ai to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and listing. Reply “remove” to any of our emails to have your listing taken down. Depending on where you live (for example Texas, California, the EU or the UK) you may have further rights under local law; we honor those requests and will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, payments run through Stripe, and access to our systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any update here with a new date, and tell account holders by email about significant changes.
